January 6, 2013

What was for supper? Well, salad.

Also chicken shawarma. Dark meat above, white meat below, and shawarma sauce below that.

Tofu? Anyone remember?

Orange olive oil cake, served with vanilla ice cream and orange olive oil. Mixed reviews of the oil, but the cake was good.

December 30, 2012

What was for supper? Something Shusho made. Maybe tofu and something?

Scallops. I remember those.

Carrots! Hummus! Made with Christmas tahini!

Very likely butternut squash.

Rice.

Would you like some carrots, little girl?

This was probably the cherry-nut wedding cake experiment, based on the Jim’s applesauce cake recipe. Complete with ice cream and choose-your-own frosting (below), as well as chocolate chip cookies.

December 23, 2012

Not a chance we would have had Sunday night supper two nights before Christmas... but I’ll look for pictures.

December 16, 2013

Really, I have no idea. The next pictures I have are for December 30th. But I’ll reserve the space just in case.

December 9, 2012

Did we not have Sunday night supper on the 9th? Or maybe the pictures are somewhere else.

December 2, 2012

What was for supper? Looks like it was salad and happy dressing, for one thing.

Also salmon, or else that other fish that masquerades as salmon.

Carrots, obviously, and also rice, obviously.

Looks like it was just the immediately family that week.

Where in the world did we get peppermint stick ice cream? And where can we get it again?

November 25, 2012

What’s for supper?

Grilled chicken.

Spinach casserole from special guest correspondent.

Butternut squash.

Fried rice.

Look carefully, and you can see what’s left of the sweet potato fries in the
blue bowl, and the yogurt dipping sauce in front of them. Pictures of the
cole slaw and of something else Shusho brought have been lost.

Pictures of dessert (Jim’s Applesauce Cake with Caramel Frosting,
in honor of Michelle’s birthday) have been lost (were never taken),
but Caden had a better idea for dessert—playing with Paulina and
Cookie Pig.
